Are you really a nurse and a lawyer?

Yes, I have been a nurse for 13 years and an attorney for 7 years. I have worked in so many different specialties and used those experiences to bridge the gap between healthcare and the law.

So what do you do now?

I help individuals, organizations, and businesses go from struggle to stride using a change management process that helps build a sustainable, profitable life and business design. I also help healthcare business owners build, operate, and protect their businesses. I am licensed in Maryland, but work with firms in Georgia, North Carolina, and New York. Together, we get your business established, in compliance, and intellectual property protected to ensure your business is sustainable and profitable over time.

First let me share more about who I am.

I have been a nurse for thirteen years and between that time I went to law school, started a family, and lost focus on my dreams of combining my career as a nurse and a lawyer. I waited so long to find the right opportunity that I decided to create my own opportunity.

After revisiting my first law practice launch and finding clarity in my purpose I then relaunched under the brand YourNurseLawyer and set out to bridge the gap between the intersection of health and the law. Although that sounds like a wildly narrow niche, it really encompasses the education, empowerment, and elevation of being both a nurse and a lawyer.

I educate healthcare workers on how to protect their license and mitigate risks. I work with organizations who are looking to create transformational change that does not disrupt their workflow and employee satisfaction. Additionally, I work with businesses that are struggling to turn a profit. During my 66 day or 6 month program, I help that business owner restructure their business from the foundation and help them go from struggle to stride.

All of this work comes easy for me, because I was created to teach, build, and help others grow beyond their comfort zone. If any of this resonates with you then let’s work together to create transformational change.
